[ARCHIVED] Department Updates Captured in Manager's Report

A brief summary of the major happenings in city departments such as Planning, Building, Parks and Recreation, Community Development, Police and Fire along with lower profile departments such as Human Resources, Information Technologies and the City Clerk's Office offer a wide range of information about what city personnel are working on. For example, if you are curious how many housing building permits have been issued, or what projects the planning board has been reviewing, the City Manager report is right for you. Have an interest in the youth of the community? Parks and Recreation provides updates about camps, sports, and their large variety of programming, along with information about improvements or issues at city parks. Get into the nitty-gritty about city management and learn about the latest solutions to keep phishing emails at bay, or hear about the latest training city employees have undertaken.  

The City Manager report is released the Friday prior to a regular City Council Meeting. Regular Council meetings occur the first and third Mondays of the month.
