Understanding Our Water Facilities:

In 2018 Kalispell completed an update to our Water Facility Plan to further guide management rehabilitation of our aging infrastructure and guide new capital improvements. In 2020, Public Works completed a large transmission main project and initiated the Upper Zone Storage Tower and Wells project. This project is in the design phase and construction is scheduled to begin spring 2023.  While the need to better manage our collective irrigation needs will always be important, when built out, the completion of this project will help alleviate issues we may have during peak irrigation demand hours. In the meantime with simple, logical solutions we can all manage our irrigation and still have beautiful landscaping.  For more details as to why the city has passed a water conservation ordinance please visit: https://time.ci.kalispell.mt.us/WebLink/DocView.aspx?id=154871&dbid=0&repo=Kalispell
