The Kalispell Police Dept. would like to share with you some of the positive things our Police community does to make a difference that may go unknown or unnoticed. These ‘Silent Services’ were shared by peers or from people like you.
SILENT SERVICE HONOREES - Officer's Oster and Fowler responded to a medical call where the female was in full arrest....no pulse, not breathing. Her husband had just arrived home and found her face down in her dinner plate. When the Officers arrived, they started CPR chest compressions and deployed the Defibrillator. They continued CPR for 4 long, hot minutes before Paramedics arrived. Once Paramedics arrived, Officers requested a Chaplin, consoled the husband, neighbors, and gathered as much medical history as possible to assist the Paramedics. The woman was given medical aid and completely recovered on scene.
