[ARCHIVED] Transportation Plan Presentation & Resources Available

Move 2040 Logo with the words 2021 Kalispell Transportation Plan

The City of Kalispell is pleased to announce a video presentation and other resources are now available online to help you understand and then comment on the draft report of the Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan, titled Move 2040. These resources can be found at: https://kalispellmove2040.com/resources/

Move 2040 establishes a set of existing and projected conditions covering surface transportation in the Kalispell area to the year 2040. A series of transportation recommendations have been developed, evaluated, and prioritized to address future transportation needs facing the Kalispell area. The draft Move 2040 Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan establishes a list of needed transportation recommendations to address existing and projected transportation demand.

The public was invited to attend one of two open house times and presentations held on May 26, 2021 at the Kalispell City Council Chambers. If you were unable to attend, you can still see a scaled down presentation and view materials to help with an understanding of the scope, process, and results of the draft plan.

The city is continuing to seek your input on the draft plan. Please send comments to the attention of the Project Manager Wade Kline at wade.kline@kljeng.com or by mail at 1830 3rd Avenue E #303, Kalispell, MT, 59901, by June 2nd, 2021. Public comment after this date is still welcome, but should be emailed to publicworks@kalispell.com.
