The Chrissy Siefke Memorial Special Olympic Area Games were held April 29 and 30th, at Legends stadium in Kalispell. Approximately 100 athletes from Northwest Montana competed in track and field competitions. Law Enforcement officers from Kalispell Police, Montana Highway Patrol, Flathead County Sherriff's Office, Probation and Parole, and Fish, Wildlife, and Parks were there to encourage and support athletes and to present athletes with well deserved medals. A long standing relationship between law enforcement and Special Olympics exists worldwide, and Kalispell Police Department Officers strive to maintain and foster that relationship at the local and state level.
