Project Overview

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Knife River are rehabilitating approximately 2 miles of US 93 north of Reserve Drive in Kalispell. The project area begins at the intersection of US 93 and Reserve Drive and extends north 2 miles.

Planned Improvements Include:

  • Resurfaced roadway.
  • Chip seal, cover, and fog seal.
  • New pavement markings.
  • New signage.
  • Upgraded guardrail.
  • Shoulder rumble strips.
  • Updated barrier ends on Stillwater River bridge.

Project Overview

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and LHC Inc. are rehabilitating seven roadways in the Kalispell urban area. Five of these project areas will be resurfaced, and are less than 1 mile in length. Two of the project areas will be chip sealed and covered and are more than 1 mile in length. This project will preserve the existing pavement and extend the service life of the existing asphalt surfaces. The project areas include East Reserve Drive, West Evergreen Drive, Airport Road, Conrad Drive, Woodland Park Drive, Whitefish Stage Road, and Woodland Avenue.
