Youth Camps
All registrations open at least SIX weeks before the program starts.
Freeze Out Camp - December
Have your kids spend the winter school break with us! We are offering 6 full days of camp with winter-themed activities and field trips such as ice skating, RockFish climbing gym, movie theater, and lots more.
Glacier Cheerleading Camp (January 6)
Come learn how to cheer for your favorite sports team with the Kalispell City Parks and Recreation and the Glacier High School Cheerleaders. (A portion of the proceeds go to the cheerleading squad). GHS cheers, chants, jumps, and stunts will be taught. Participants will learn a routine that they will perform along GHS Cheerleaders at half time during a GHS varsity basketball game. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is highly encouraged. Participants will receive a Glacier Cheer Camp t-shirt.
Art Camp

Kalispell Parks & Recreation and The Hockaday Museum present an Art Camp with six different options to choose from.
Camp Woodland
June-August
Our Summer Day Camp, Camp Woodland is a Ten-week camp. Located at the Woodlad Day Camp Center.
Cheer Camp
July-August
Come learn how to cheer for your favorite sport and team. New cheers, chants, jumps and stunts will be taught. Fundamentals of cheerleading taught. The last day will be a performance day for family.
Code Girls United
July
You will be working with Groovy Unicorns to build a game & create binary bracelets all while learning how to code! This class is for girls’ grades 4th - 8th who are creative and want to learn about computer science. In just 12 hours of class, you will create a game using MIT App Inventor. You and your Groovy Unicorn will learn coding terms, teamwork, cooperation, and self-confidence..

Summer Dance Camp is brought to you by Kalispell Parks and Recreation and the Academy of the Performing Arts. Three options to choose from.
Harry Potter Camp
August
You’re a wizard, Harry! Quidditch, potion making, house sorting, and spell learning/casting are just a few magical activities to look forward to. Come and join us in our witchcraft and wizardry. You will solemnly swear you’re up to no good. Could YOU be the next chosen one?
Skip Out Camp
October
This camp program is a fun and enriching way for your children to spend their school break. Skip Out Camp will focus on Halloween and fall themed activities with a field trip to Sweet Pickin's pumpkin patch.
Skateboarding Camp
July-August
This program is intended for boys & girls of all ability levels, ages 7 and up. All participants must have their own equipment (skateboard, helmet, protective equipment) and bring water, snacks and sunscreen. We are excited to have longtime skateboarding coach, Michael “Spike” Blauvelt, who ran the City of Whitefish’s skateboard program for more than a decade, instructing Kalispell’s program again this summer.
Sports Camp
June-July
Pee Wee Sports Camp This fun, skill-based camp is designed with the beginning athlete in mind. The primary focus is to learn the basics and develop skills while working on hand/eye coordination & balance. We will also focus on the concepts of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respecting others. This camp will target the fundamentals of soccer, basketball, baseball, and floor hockey. Ages 5-8
Mini Sports Camp This camp provides a perfect first step into sports. The essentials of each sport are taught in a safe, structured atmosphere with lots of encouragement & a focus on fun. This camp will introduce the fundamentals of a variety of skills including throwing, catching, kicking, hitting, bouncing, & running. Ages 3-4
Spring Break Camp
March
Spring has sprung and that can only mean one thing – spring break! Our Spring Break Camp will provide organized education and physical activities. Spring break field trips around the valley may include some of the following: indoor rock climbing, movie theater, art programs, and bowling.
Zombie Camp
August
Come and join our expert team of survivalists to learn the skills and techniques on how to survive a zombie outbreak. Your child will learn the basics of survival by practicing the use and techniques of water purification, DNA experiments, smokeless fire, tracking, orienteering and how to build your own bow and arrow. Be warned that a “zombie” attack can happen at any point, do you have what it takes to protect Camp Woodland.
