The Kalispell Building Department now offers online permitting for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler System contractors, for projects within the City of Kalispell. Commercial and Residential Permit must be submitted via email.
Only licensed electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire system contractors can apply and pay for permits online. All other permits paid online will be subject to additional processing fees.

NEW - You can now schedule building inspections via email or text. Please include permit or address number, type of inspection you need and a contact name and phone number. You will receive a reply with the date and time of your inspection. Reminder - inspections must be scheduled 24 hours in advance, we cannot guarantee same day inspections.
