Basic population and housing information current to date of availability of data
The Siderius Family Limited Partnership has submitted applications for annexation & initial zoning and a growth policy amendment for 207 acres south of Cemetery Road west of U.S. Highway 93 South. The project has not been scheduled for public hearing at this time, however when it is scheduled for either a public hearing or work session the notice will be posted on our website under Planning Board/Agendas. On July 1, 2005, the City of Kalispell restructured planning, zoning and building functions under a single new department called the Kalispell Planning Department. The Planning Office staff administers all aspects of planning, zoning, subdivision, floodplain, signs, lighting, weed control and decay ordinance issues.
Staff provides professional planning assistance to the City and serves the public interest by providing a forum for open dialogue, identification of issues and goals, creative problem solving, plan development, and implementation. We work to educate, coordinate and facilitate strategies that protect and maintain property values, public investment, built and natural environment, and the quality of life.
The Planning Office is responsible for the administration of several programs including:

- Capital Improvements Planning
