The City of Kalispell offers a redevelopment property tax incentive to assist and encourage the redevelopment of historically significant buildings, blighted buildings and buildings in economically declining areas. Property Tax Benefits may be available to property owners whose taxable value increased due to remodeling, reconstruction or expansion. There are three urban renewal or tax increment financing districts within Kalispell City Limits: The Airport Improvement Project, The Westside TIF, and Old School Station Business Park. Revolving Loan Fund The Revolving Loan Fund Program provides gap financing in conjunction with private financing for business expansion and/or retention. Funds can be used to assist eligible recipients located in the City of Kalispell and surrounding service area and result in the creation of new jobs, or the addition of positions within an existing business, or the retention of those positions.
