Katharine grew up in the Flathead Valley then attended the University of Montana earning a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics and a Master of Public Administration. She served two local non-profit organizations for 13 years as executive director of the Flathead Food Bank and Flathead CARE. Since joining the city staff February 2008, Katharine, a fifth generation Flathead Valley resident, has used her professional skills and passion for local history as Community Development Manager.

Wade is originally from North Dakota and attended Bismarck State College where he received an Associates of Art in Business Administration. He spent 28 years in banking and finance. Wade and his family moved to the Flathead in 1991 and have lived in Whitefish, Bigfork and Kalispell. He is a recent addition to The City of Kalispell’s Community and Economic Development Department, June 2009. He is looking forward to using his banking skills and contacts to bring economic stability and growth to businesses and the community of Kalispell.
